For four decades, from its bustling opening night until the final closing bell, Jule's Italian Restaurant was the undisputed home of the most talked-about lasagna in the city. This wasn't just a dish; it was a nightly ritual, a culinary institution that defined an era of Italian-American dining. People would gather, not for the decor or the atmosphere, but for the towering, perfectly baked layers of what became known simply as "Jule's Lasagna."
Since the restaurant closed its doors years ago, a void has remained. The memory—and the legend—of that inimitable, decadent taste persists. Diners who experienced it still reminisce about the rich, slow-simmered red sauce, the creamy, perfectly seasoned blend of ricotta and mozzarella, and the tender, never-mushy pasta. It was a masterpiece of comfort food, a taste of authentic, time-honored tradition.
Now, after years of silence, the secret is finally out. We are proud to present the official, authentic recipe for Jule’s legendary lasagna. This is more than just instructions; it is your chance to transport yourself back to that bustling dining room and relive the truly decadent, unforgettable tastes that made Jule’s a legend. Prepare to bring a piece of history—and pure deliciousness—to your own table.

Cut out a portion of lasagna
In an oven-safe dish, add 3 tablespoons of Jules Classic Red to the bottom
