It is so true that necessity is the mother of invention and necessity is exactly how this recipe was born - we refused to go to the store in the cold rain, had an almost completely barren fridge, and a hungry toddler. What resulted was such a happy accident - it was SO. TASTY. You can try this simple sauté with any ingredients in your fridge - veggies, meats, grains - and just pop it on some good bread. It's really no wonder, though. Generally, when you incorporate Jule's Classic Tomato Sauces, it's going to be delicious :)
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add zucchini and sauté until soft. Add mushrooms and continue to sauté. Season with salt, pepper, and dried thyme. Add your jar of Classic Tomato Sauce and simmer 3-5 minutes. Remove the veggies and sauce from the skillet and put your bread in cut side down to toast. Spoon the veggies and sauce onto your bread, sprinkle with the cheese of your choice, and enjoy!
Who says a red sauce joint only opens for dinner? Our recipe takes a cue from traditional Shakshuka: eggs poached right in a skillet of Classic Red tomato sauce, topped with charred asparagus and fresh herbs. Grab a crusty loaf, pour the coffee, and make Sunday morning count.
Creamy tomato soup made easy, starting with a jar of Jule's Classic Vodka sauce. Ready in minutes, topped with buttery grilled cheese croutons for the coziest twist on a classic.
Mussels swimming in Jule's Classic Red isn't a stretch, it's Westside Avenue logic. A jar of our sauce and a pound of mussels get you a dish that tastes like it took all day and yet takes only twenty minutes. Folks still talk about this dish. This is why.
