Now that we know what we need, here's how to prepare our roasted cauliflower parmesan.
Preheat your oven to 425°F. While the oven heats up, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. The parchment paper will prevent the cauliflower from sticking to the backing sheet while it's roasting in the oven.
Carefully slice the head of cauliflower into ½” steaks. Do this step carefully so that you keep the slices as intact as possible. Raw cauliflower is will sometimes crumble a bit so just take your time.
Drizzle each cauliflower slice with olive oil and then dredge them in breadcrumbs. I love the taste of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs and tend to go a bit heavy on them.
Carefully flip the breaded cauliflower and repeat to thoroughly coat each slice with breadcrumbs.
Roast the cauliflower for approximately 20 minutes. You'll want to roast them until the cauliflower is lightly browned. Gently flip each slice and roast for another 10-12 minutes. At this point, the the cauliflower should be roasted and tender.
