Are you interested in the feta baked pasta phenomenon? We’re not usually ones to follow trends, but our interest was piqued by the baked feta pasta going viral on TikTok. This recipe includes tomatoes, feta, and pasta.. that’s obviously right up our alley! What recipe could be better?
The original version is pretty simple, but ours is even more so. With Jule's Tomato Sauce as your pantry’s secret weapon, you can whip this dish up with only three ingredients!
To get started, preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Place your block of feta in the center of a baking dish. Pour the tomato sauce over and around the block of feta cheese. Add some spice if you like. We sprinkled on crushed red pepper flakes over the top. Place the baking dish in the over and bake for 30 minutes.
While the feta cheese and pasta sauce are doing their thing in the oven, cook your pasta according to package directions. Be sure to salt the water! For this recipe, we prefer the pasta cooked just beyond al dente.
Remove feta and tomato sauce from the oven. Using a spoon, stir to combine. Add your pasta and stir again once again. Add additional fresh herbs or spices, like fresh basil or dried oregano and salt and pepper to make this dish your own.
That's all there is to it. A easy to make baked pasta feta dish featuring any Jule's Tomato Sauce! Enjoy.
Who says a red sauce joint only opens for dinner? Our recipe takes a cue from traditional Shakshuka: eggs poached right in a skillet of Classic Red tomato sauce, topped with charred asparagus and fresh herbs. Grab a crusty loaf, pour the coffee, and make Sunday morning count.
